2022: Year in Review

As the year comes to a close, we like to take a moment to review the progress our club has made, the memorable moments we’ve shared, and the path ahead as we move into the new year.
One of the things we are most proud of this year is the impact our club has had on the community. We had over 20 coaches, who are all college student athletes, act as positive role models and mentors for our youth. This helps build pathways for students approaching young adulthood, preparing them for a successful transition to college and beyond.
In addition to providing valuable mentorship, we also made an effort to bring the community together through various events. We attended and hosted a range of events, including the Franklinton High School open clinic, the Louisburg College Fill the Hill event, the Youngsville Academy Fall Festival, and the Town of Franklinton Christmas Parade, just to name a few. It was a pleasure to see so many members of the community come together through soccer and other activities.
Our recreation leagues were incredibly successful this year, serving a record number of families. Our rec program removes barriers, so low-income youth from all homes are welcomed to experience the joy of soccer. Approximately 1 out of every 8 players benefits from our financial aid program which provides our youth with opportunities to learn social, emotional, and practical skills needed for future success.
As we move into the new year, our focus is building on our strengths and continuing to grow and develop together, both on and off the soccer field. Our new competitive pathway is going to bring a range of exciting opportunities and experiences for our club. We’re excited to see what the future holds and to continue to provide top-quality soccer opportunities for our community.
We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to tackle the new year with enthusiasm and determination. Here’s to a successful and fulfilling year ahead!
