Franklinton Recreation Soccer League
NBT Soccer and Franklinton Parks & Rec. have partnered to offer quality soccer opportunities to the community! This project brings professional soccer coaching to the town with the goal to have kids learn, exercise, and have fun in a team environment. Our leagues are held twice a year for all players ages 3– 14.

Spring Season February – May

Age Groups & Formats
Our age groups are typically organized by birth year. Age groups can be added or combined based on league participation and organization.
Intro to Soccer (ages 3-4): This age group will play a 4v4 Coed format with a size 3 ball. The teams will meet once a week on the weekend with 30 minutes of practice followed by 30 minutes of game play.
U6 (ages 5-6): This age group will play 5v5 Coed. (4 + Keeper v 4 + Keeper) format with a size 3 ball. The teams will meet 1 time a week for practice with a 60 minute game on the weekend.
U8 (ages 7-8): This age group will play 6v6 Coed. (5 + Keeper v 5 + Keeper) format with a size 4 ball. The teams will meet 1 time a week for practice with a 60 minute game on the weekend.
U10 (ages 9-10): This age group will play 6v6 Coed. (5 + Keeper v 5 + Keeper) format with a size 4 ball. The teams will meet 1 time a week for practice with a 60 minute game on the weekend.
U13 (ages 11-13): This age group will play 9v9 Coed. (8 + Keeper v 8 + Keeper) format with a size 5 ball. The teams will meet 1 time a week for practice with a 60 minute game on the weekend.
U15 (ages 14-15): This age group will play 9v9 Coed. (8 + Keeper v 8 + Keeper) format with a size 5 ball. The teams will meet 1 time a week for practice with a 60 minute game on the weekend.
Fall 2023 Dates
Important dates are listed below regarding registration and format of the season. Your specific team’s schedule may vary and you will receive your practice/game schedules once you have been assigned a team. Please note ages 3-4 (Intro to Soccer) will follow a different schedule. Games will be played on Saturdays.
Aug 30: First practice / Open House
Sept 4: Team rosters and schedules will be released
Sept 6: First practice with assigned team
Sept 9: 1st game day
Oct 28: Final game
Nov 4: Weather Makeup Weekend
Locations
All practices and games will be held at Franklinton Park, 99 Park Ave, Franklinton, NC 27525 or Franklinton Middle School Fields, 224 Rams Way, Franklinton, NC 27525. Your specific team schedule will be emailed to you once team rosters are set.
Club Fees
Ages 3 – 4: $100
Ages 5 – 14: $125
Club fees help cover the costs of fields, referees, coaches, admin and other fees.
- FRANKLIN COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY will receive a discount for the club fees once the family home address is confirmed in county limits. Thank you to our partnership with the Town of Franklinton Parks & Rec department and the Franklin County Parks & Rec department. The in-county residents club fees will be $75 for ages 3-5 and $90 for ages 5-14. Use code “Frank5” for ages 5+. Use code “Frank34” for intro to soccer.

Uniform
New players are responsible for purchase both RED & WHITE jerseys. Returning players should have both jerseys from previous seasons. Replacement jerseys can be purchased. 2023 begins the first year of our 2-year uniform cycle. INTRO TO SOCCER (ages 3-4) DOES NOT REQUIRE JERSEY PURCHASE.
