Franklinton Recreation Soccer League
NBT Soccer and Franklinton Parks & Rec. have partnered to offer quality soccer opportunities to the community! This project brings recreation soccer to the town with the goal to have kids learn, exercise, and have fun in a team environment. Our leagues are held twice a year for all players ages 3– 14.

Age Groups
Age groups are based primarily on birthdate ranges that generally align with school grade levels. We prioritize birthdate over grade level. Players may be moved at NBT Soccer’s discretion based on registration numbers, safety, skill level, and team balance. Age groups can be added or combined based on league participation and organization.
Typical age group structure: Kindergarten/1st Grade, 2nd/3rd Grade, 4th/5th Grade, Middle School (6th,7th,8th Grade)
U6: August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021 | Kindergarten
U7: August 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020 | 1st Grade
U8: August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019 | 2nd Grade
U9: August 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018 | 3rd Grade
U10: August 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017 | 4th Grade
U11: August 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016 | 5th Grade
U12: August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015 | 6th Grade
U13: August 1, 2013 – July 31, 2014 | 7th Grade
U14: August 1, 2012 – July 31, 2013 | 8th Grade

Fall 2026 Dates
Important dates are listed below regarding registration and format of the season. Your specific team’s schedule may vary and you will receive your practice/game schedules once you have been assigned a team. Please note ages 3-4 (Intro to Soccer) will follow a different schedule. Practices will be Tuesday evenings. Games will be played on Saturdays.
August 11: First practice / Open House
August 16: Team rosters and schedules will be released
August 18: First practice with assigned team
August 22: 1st game day
September 5: NO Games *Labor Day*
Oct 10: Final games
Oct 17: Make-up / Rain-out Date only if needed
Locations
All practices and games will be held at Franklinton Park, 99 Park Ave, Franklinton, NC 27525. Your specific team schedule will be emailed to you once team rosters are set.
Volunteer
Interested in volunteer coaching? Be a key part in providing young players with fun and active soccer experience. No prior experience is necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with your child and play a significant role in something they love. Complete volunteer coaching interest form during player registration – Volunteer coaches receive FREE registration!
Club Fees
Ages 5 – 14: $140
Club fees help cover the costs of fields, referees, coaches, admin and other fees.
Save $15 on early registration when you register before July 1.
July 1 – August 1: Normal registration fee – $140
After August 1: Additional $10 late fee applies.
- FRANKLIN COUNTY RESIDENTS DISCOUNT Franklin County residents will receive a discount for the club fees once the family home address is confirmed in county limits. Thank you to our partnership with the Franklin County Parks & Rec department. The in-county residents club fees will be $115 for ages 5-14. Use code “Frank5” for ages 5+.

Uniform
New players are responsible for purchase both RED & WHITE jerseys. Returning players should have both jerseys from previous seasons. Replacement jerseys can be purchased. 2023 begins the first year of our 2-year uniform cycle. INTRO TO SOCCER (ages 3-4) DOES NOT REQUIRE JERSEY PURCHASE.
