Trevor Berk Appointed as New Vice President

Franklinton, NC – NBT is thrilled to announce the appointment of Trevor Berk as the new Vice President effective immediately.
With his extensive experience in soccer and coaching, Berk brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. Berk recently graduated from the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina, where he earned a Master’s degree in Health and Physical Education, with a minor in Sports Psychology and Coaching.
Having played soccer at a highly competitive level, Berk has showcased his skills across the United States. Notably, he was a part of the Columbus Crew MLS Academy and subsequently joined NCFC upon moving to North Carolina. During his time at Heritage High School, Berk was honored as the NC State Player of the Year. Currently, Berk plays professional indoor soccer for the Fayetteville Fury.
Berk’s passion for coaching is evident through his dedication to obtaining coaching licenses. He has already obtained the US Youth Grassroots Coaching Licenses and is currently working towards obtaining his D license. His extensive experience as a player and his educational background in sports psychology will undoubtedly contribute to his effectiveness as a coach.

From the moment Coach Matt shared his vision and introduced me to the club’s ethos, I knew that this was the place where I belonged. I am fully committed to carrying out that vision and working closely with the players and the entire club.”
